Hope Cooper

Vocalist

Hope was born and raised in Nashville, TN. The third of five kids, Hope grew up in a home where music, particularly through song, was regarded as a profound expression of worship to a most Creative God. The effects from such influence have been long-lasting for Hope as song continues to be a source of inspiration, strength, and a gift to others.

Hope attended Lipscomb University, completing a degree in Exercise Science with minors in Biology and Missions in 2008. Hope then followed Gods leading to the small community of Jellico, TN, learning much about life as ministry, even, and perhaps especially, in the ordinary. During this time, Hope became an active member of her church’s worship band, and on April 3, 2010, married the leader, Tim Cooper. They are now residents of Williamsburg, KY, where she is working for the Whitely County Board of Education as an Adult Education Instructor for women in prison.

A three-time guest of Tokens, the show will always hold a special place in Hope and Tim’s hearts. In fact, upon their last visit, it was directly following the show when Tim asked Hope’s parents for her hand in marriage. They said, “Yes!”
